What It's Like To Drive A Spyker! [$350k Dutch Supercar]

I get a last minute invite to drive a rare Spyker C8 Spyder at Authentic Motorcars in Redmond near Seattle. Under 150 cars were ever made so I never expected to get the chance to drive one. We go for a quick blast along a local lake so I can experience the quirky Dutch supercar.

This was so much fun for me to share the car with Sam and his audience. I was fortunate to be able to sell these cars and go to Spyker training when they were new and available here in the USA. I really love to see the public reaction when they see a Spyker for the first time as they are truly something very special to behold in person. I first saw this car on Top Gear. This is my dream car. The look is fabulous. Its so stylish without being over the top. Its so much better looking than a modern Ferrari or Lambo. I love that its a manual trans. Thank you.

I'm Dutch myself and this is the first time I really took a good look at this car. Victor Muller did something right for sure... with age it becomes more and more of a beauty. 420 horsepower is plenty to have fun!

I was never sure about the Spyker, now its at the top of my wish list.
Enough power but not too much and from the drivers seat the view is that of a Riva power boat.
Absolutely love it.

I remember seeing this spec at LA Auto Show in 2006. Some stunning cars that year including the Veyron. But that gear lever was just on another level. So cool.
