Hahaha!!! I was thinking the same thing!!!! How convenient he just found them???!!! They weren't even attached to the rocks.... so freshwater oysters even grow that big???

We called it Taiwan clam in our province... Sometimes we catch it in the with matching leech in our arms hehhee but it's a lot of fun to catch this clams😁😁

They are definitely not oyster. At my place, we call it as "kijing" or "toe" for the big one, and "haremis" for the small one (Pilsbryoconcha exilis). They do live in streams or pond and stay between rocks.
