The Prompts:

1. Alexandre Dumas was born in the 19th Century. Do you have a favourite time period to read about? If yes, what do you like about it?
2. Alexandre Dumas was born in France. Is there a French author whose book you´d recommend?
3. Alexandre Dumas often based his novels on real events and historical figures. Is there a person from the past - artists/politicians/simply anyone, you would like to meet?
4. Alexandre Dumas wrote some pretty chunky books. For example, The Count of Monte Cristo is almost over 1000 pages. As oppose to his son, Alexandre Dumas Jr. whose only book The Lady of the Camellias is less than 180 pages. What is the longest and shortest book you´ve read?
5. I don´t think there is a video in which I wouldn´t mention my favourite book – The Three Musketeers. Is there a book you want everyone to know about? It can be your favourite book of all time or some recent read you´d recommend to other people!
6. One of the most famous quotes in literature “All for one, one for all” cames from the pen of Alexandre Dumas. Do you keep a track of your favourite quotes when reading? Do you have at least one quote you´d like to share? Which book does it come from?
7. The Three Musketeers is a book of a strong friendship and allegiance. Do you have a favourite fictional friendship?
8. The Three Musketeers is a story with strong female characters, who are brave, fearless, yet gentle and loving. However, some of them prove to be true evil. Do you have a favourite female fictional character? Who is it and why?
9. There are more than 50 film adaptations of The Three Musketeers. Is there a film adaptation that you enjoyed more than actual book? (Doesn´t have to be one of Dumas´ books, just any book you´ve read and its film adaptation.)
10. I own three different editions of Three Musketeers. Is there a book you own more than one edition of?
11. Have you read The Three Musketeers or any other book by Alexander Dumas? If yes, which one?
12. And finally, tag some friends to do this tag!

Beki is the best!! 🥰 Pachinko is on my TBR. I completely understand wanting to read outside the US/English perspective in WWII. Katherine, yes! 🥰 Where the Crawdad’s Sing is so beautiful! Wonderful video, Gemma. 😌

I love Beki’s tag and you are so speedy off the mark with it! That Winnie the Pooh quote was in Pretty Little Liars 😂. I still love it though. I must read some Dumas next year. I like the sound of a pretty edition of The Hobbit, I want to reread that next year too.

Great answers for the tag and you’re very quick off the mark to do it! Guernsey Literary is a great choice for that question; i rewatched the film this week actually and loved it again, but only gave the book 3⭐️. Pachinko is on my must reads for 2022! Have a lovely Christmas! X 😊📚🎄

You were so fast lol!! I really need to get to this one soon! It's a January priority!! Great answers. I would really like to know more about all of Henry VIIIs wives because I think they are glossed over quite a lot when you learn about that time period! Like we learn about them but do we _learn about them_ you know!?
