I live in Rochdale.
The only town centre hotel is full of them.
At night they go into the pubs, watch the football, charge their phones and don't buy a single drink between them.
They get in early and take all the best seats depriving money paying customers a decent evening.
The pub landlords / managers are terrified of throwing them out and being branded racist.
Rochdale was a bit of a shithole but it will soon be a totally lost cause.

Me and a friend complained th the manager in Yates"'s.
15 minutes later we were asked to leave.
Fukcing madness.

Why should we be sympathetic to & reward illegals?

What has our own people, the productive tax-payers done to deserve such apathy from our government? 😭

What sympathy are we supposed to have for these men, they entered a country illegally and are now hiding from the authorities. I am a UK citizen, if I try to move my Canadian wife to the UK the immigration red tape will take years to sort out and cost thousands of pounds. Why should a Tamil get special treatment over a Canadian citizen?

I used to know an Tamil Tiger rebel soldier here in the UK. He fled Sri Lanka when the war ended, as he feared the Sri Lankan government would arrest and jail him or even kill him. He came here under a new name and lied he was a civilian refugee. The guy turned out to be a scamming piece of crap, and stole money from several people at his job, before he resigned and fled to another part of the UK!

A while back an illegal was giving an interview. He's been here 8 years, stays in a paid hotel, works but wants a house for free. He should get a mortgage like the rest of us and pay bills. Let's see how long he wants to stay here after all his wages have gone on bills.

As an Indian, these people put our country to shame. This is a clear slap on the face of other law abiding citizens who wait years and pay so much to immigrate legally.

How far have we all fallen

They are not very good at hiding if Sky ‘News’ has found them! Sky should stick to hounding old women and families who’ve lost loved ones!

Any of these people can see a doctor free of charge and get hospital treatment for free. Here in Scotland they also get free prescriptions

If life is so bad here for them all, surely returning home would be better.

Not being funny but how did the Indian fella end up here. India isn't even considered a dangerous country, especially for men. I could understand if there was a sudden crisis in Ireland and people fled over here but India? Police should just use this footage and track him down with CCTV.

I'd love to know what I'd get if I went to their countries

India and Sri Lanka are beautiful safe countries where British people go on holiday. Just because they don't like their home or are in trouble with authorities in those countries isn't a good enough reason to abscond to the UK illegally. I am sorry but they need to go home and face things. Try to live in their own countries. We cannot take responsibility for every hard luck guy on the planet.

So I saw an interview where an immigrant said his dream was to come and live in the UK. All his life he wanted to live here and he finally got a dinghy over the channel. Can someone please explain how someone dreaming to live in the UK is an asylum issue?

They are not asylum seekers they are economic migrants.

Sky News seems to think we should feel sorry for these people. The people I feel sorry for are genuine asylum seekers who had been displaced in the queue for resources by economic migrants, and people like former veteran of the Iraq war and pallbearer at Diana‘s funeral, Malcolm Livingstone, who froze to death on the streets not long ago.
