TEHRAN, IRAN - In this video I’m going to share with you my first and initial impressions and experiences of visiting Tehran, Iran for the very first time. And then 14 days later, I share with you my final thoughts, the last day in Iran before leaving back home to Bangkok. Here it is, the first impressions, sights and attractions, Iranian food, unforgettable gifts, and most of all, the amazing people of Iran 🙏🙏.

Milad Tower - Rising to the sky, the Milad Tower is a huge communications tower in Tehran that makes up part of the iconic skyline. We didn’t go to the top, but it was nice to see it from the bottom.

Azadi Tower - In Tehran, the same day we arrived, we then visited the Azadi Tower, one of the landmarks and most important attractions in Tehran. It’s an amazing sight to see.

Koohpaye Restaurant - Darband, Tehran - Next we headed to an area of Tehran known as Darband, where we ate some Iranian street food snacks, followed by a huge celebratory dinner at Koohpaye Restaurant. Food was delicious, and so was the party for Mr. Taster!

1. RASHT
2. MASULEH
3. TABRIZ
4. SHIRAZ
5. ISFAHAN
6. CHABAHAR

We returned to Tehran, and here’s where this video re-picks up:

Bella Monica - Italian Restaurant - Thank you for hosting us where we received some of the most precious gifts I’ve ever received including a family portrait made from a Persian rug, and a prized Persian carpet from Tabriz.

Darvazeh Tehroon - Bam Land, Tehran - And to end this incredible trip to Iran, we had a final meal and good-bye at Darvazeh Tehroon before heading to the airport.

Thank you again to everyone who made our trip to Iran so memorable 🙏🙏.

I read a lot about Iran, they were the first in everything! The first kingdom (Anunnaki), the first religion (Mitraism), the first singers and musical instrument (Persian Ney), the first animation(Goat jumping from Bronze age), the first pants, the first handwriting, the first human law (Hammurabi law), the first real game (chess), the first carpet, the first sport (wrestling) and many other firsts, respect from India to the Persian brother ✌🙏

I am Armenian from Iran and I will never change my country with the whole world. I do not care what regime rules that country and I don't care who says what. Iran is the heaven of the planet earth and the people in Iran are amazing. Hospitality in Iran is like no other places.

As a fellow Persian let me just tell anyone that is doubting visiting iran it’s the greatest place to be for food and culture and nature . And the amount of love that tourists receive is unmatched because we don’t see many of them. I would definitely say Iranian people are the most welcoming community of fall. Don’t let the media fool you and give us a visit we will happily welcome you

30yrs ago I fell in love with a beautiful Iranian girl, who became my wife. Her culture, cuisine, family and country enriched me so many ways i cannot count. Once you've met the people of Iran and experience their genuine hospitality, you'll consider them the best of friends. BTW. If in Terhan, I highly recommend walking, hiking and exploring the local mountains ...and their discos are rather fun too.

My boyfriend's parents are from Iran. Being Mexican-American, I know how hospitable my culture can be, but let me tell you, my boyfriend's parents make me feel at home every time I'm at their home. I admire and love Iran's culture.
