This is the best pattern
Combines Olsen mask design for snug fit along with the pleats of the basic pleated mask. I've made/used about 9 different patterns this one is my favorite. I've also added a 1/2 inch all around (so really a whole inch total) for a men's size, also added 1 inch (so 2 inch total) for a extra large sized for someone who has a really big head. Fit is the key!! I've used quilters cotton and also a really breathable polyester/spandex(5-10%) blend "chiffon" (basically man made silk substitute) Another variation I've done is a nose wire (pipe cleaner) for extra fit/seal. Everyone I've made them for wants that nose wire. Again, best pattern ever !!!! and not too difficult. I'm in USA but have a ruler with centimeters, I suggest using that to make pattern from video.

I also string some differently so not using ear elastic, so it goes around neck and tied. I don't use elastic but strips of knit cotton that can be substituted for elastic.

...added. I do a french seam for the center and sew it down, each layer in opposite directions and sew down like shown in video. It helps to add more stiffness to keep fabric puffed out a bit.
