I have been watching a lot of sewing and pressing and I believe you are the first to press the seam before turning! My mother always insisted on pressing the seam to “set the stitching “.♥️

I use elastic at the bottom to gather for an tighter fit. Love the button idea.

I absolutely loved the buttons. And pleats on chin. I hope the 2 pleats on either side of the nose would keep it from fogging my glasses tho

Great idea. I am thinking, I would add a coffee filter inside (can change it out to wash mask by leaving an opening to fold/slide in; I got the cone shaped filters denser that 4 c. Or big 8-12 c. make a light open 2 sided ‘pouch’ on thee inside face side before sewing together😉 for coffee filter or pm 2.5 carbon filters (Amazon) for extra safety measures even with the summer. Just a suggestion for that 3rd needed layer??👍🏼😎

I am an essential worker I wear a mask every day since this Covid thing started so I look for comfort not so much pretty. The pleats look uncomfortable around the top of the mask and at the chin. When your hot and sweaty those do not help. It looks itchy. Also the knots at each end I am referring to the elastic that is behind your ear, wearing that for 8 hours a day does not look comfort with a knot there. It’s pretty though. It may be nice for those just running in a store but for all day wear not so much.
