I was at Fort Stewart for 3 years so yeah I know Hinesville haha what a crappy ass town. I moved to Wilmington Island (off the causeway from Savannah) for my last year which was kinda cool but still not Hawai’i cool lol!

I know a lot of native Hawaiians and since the majority of them live in poverty. They don’t see the military bases as being good for the economy. They see them as people who evaded Hawaii and stole there land and culture from them. After Hawaii was invaded by the US and given to a bunch of business men. It now costs a fortune to live there. It’s a paradise to everyone visiting there except for the natives who actually live in little shantytowns working as dishwashers and cooks. Because they can’t make enough money because everything is a fortune. I personally don’t agree with that it’s just what I was told.
