In the last of 6 videos on how to compute derivatives, we go over Newton's form of the chain rule and a hybrid form. While not as easy to understand as Leibniz's form, these forms are more useful for actually computing derivatives of complicated functions. After working a few examples, we use the chain rule to show that the power law (Newton's hammer) works for fractional powers of x.
