Axial SCX10 II - Vanquish Atlas Transfer Case & Mounting The Jeep Wrangler Body

Today we get to take a look at the all new Vanquish Atlas Scale Transfer Case for the Axial SCX10 II Kit version. This Transfer Case is a direct drop in and only take a matter of minutes to install! The overall quality and feel of the aluminum cases is beyond exceptional. Its very ruged and well put together, especially with the Atlas engraved logo on the outside! This case dose come in two optional colors black and Clear( more like a silver ), and you will need to swap over all of your stock gears, bearing and shafts from the stock housing to the new Vanquish Case.

I also went a head and installed a set of HD steel Transfer case gears from SSD. Considering i was already taking it all apart. I figured it would be a perfect time to beef up the drive train some.

The second part of this video, I show you exactly whats needed to install the original Jeep Wrangler body from the original SCX10 on to the new SCX10 II platform. Thier are only two things you will need to replace in order to make it work. You will need all new body posts, as the SCX10 II's are too tall for the Jeep Wrangler body. As well as a new Rear bumper mount. The SCX10 II's rear bumper mount is a little longer then the original SCX10 so it will stick out past the Jeep Wranglers body. Other then that you shouldn't need anything else to make this work!

It's nice that Advance Adapters allowed the ATLAS to be lincesed out for R/Cs.

Perhaps somebody already asked this here, but I am wondering how the Atlas transf.case affects the driving. Does it do anything for that horrid torque twist? Or is it simply a visual accessory?

The SCX10 ii kit comes with the body mounts for the wrangler body, but the links do need to be modified or replaced with the SXC10 links to center up the axles to the wheel wells.

Does the scx10ii comes with the body mount or body posts for Jeep wrangler? Do I need to buy extra body mounts? Last question - It seems that you removed the rear bumper from scx10ii in order to fit the wrangler body - how about the front bumper? Leave it as it is?

A forum I was looking at said you may have to change out the links for the wrangler body, due to some scx10 version 2's not having a 12.3" wheelbase. Most have posted theirs are 11 15/16". Mine being the same. What would I have to do, in your opinion, to make it work and still have my turning radius and minimal rubbing? I do not want to make it look badass if I can't have the functionality of it. I didn't do my research on the wrangler body well enough to see that I may have to swap out some parts and now I have ran into a problem. Please help!

Hey Matt awesome scx10 and scx10 ii builds. Actually one of my favorite go to guy who works on scx10's. my question is my crawler wheel base is 12.0 but want to convert to 12.3 beside the rear links what else do I need to modify?
