Convert your SCX10-II to Vanquish VS4-10 Chassis

Step by Step instructions showing how to take a stock SCX10-II and swap to the Vanquish Products VS4-10 chassis. This will give you improved suspension travel, aluminum panhard mount, better center of gravity, more chassis rigidity, scale fuel cell and the ability to use many other accessories already available!

Using a Dig will also require using the VS4-10 Angle Servo Bracket

I have been building a custom SCX10 On this VS410 chassis. There are some nice features with this kit, however if I was to do it all over again, unless I was planning on using all vanquish components I would just choose to wait for an updated version or just stick with an SCX10 platform due to the many headaches I have experienced with this build. 1). The sliders are narrow and can’t be adjusted wider to fit a slightly wider body causing the body to catch on rocks. 2). The massive crossmembers at both the front and rear are one large piece for rigidity, but eliminate many bumpers unless they are the post style or the flat style that mounts to the outer portion of the frame rails as you cannot eliminate the main brace as it is part of the servo bracket or fuel cell. 3). The shock mounts are not comparable with any shocks that have the one sided knuckle on the top of the shock(ex.: Proline or SSD shocks)

Groovy, I'm wondering if comparisons have been done? Cimb angles, sidehill angles, and such...
At $110, it's an inexpensive conversion, if the payoff is there.
Thank you bro! Super Sick!

That's definitely a conversion that I would consider. While you're updating your rig go check out Excalibur Customs. They make a nice dual servo mount. Similar to the one that blue monkey rc used to make for the 10.1.

I will absolutely be converting my SCX10.2 to this chassis! What receiver boxes can be used with this kit? is there a particular one you recommend?

Great video Josh!! Is there going to be a problem with that body and wheel base? Being the shorter 11.8 wheel base body or are you going to shorten the links? Or just not worry about it?

Love the whole idea of this kit. It would be sweet for my Blazer. My wallet will be hurting this summer for sure.

Great video. Interested in upgrading a lightly used SCX10ii with this chassis kit. Can the VFD transmission kit also be added to this set up..?

Great informative video. Makes me wonder if it is better to use the VS4-10 chassis and build up from scratch...As opposed to taking parts from an SCX10-II chassis.

since the transmission is flipped from the stock chasis, will you have to flip the driveshafts as well so the longer shaft is in the rear.
