Answering Questions About Jesus' Resurrection

What evidence is there that Jesus truly rose from the dead? Was this only a spiritual Resurrection? How do we know that Jesus did not simply go into a coma and then wake up? The temple prophecy is talking about Jesus’ temple was destroyed, he died. He was dead in 3 days, but on the 4th day, he rose from the dead, his temple was risen again. I get it now.

All of your answers are based on the gospels, and acts (written by whoever wrote Luke.)  Why do you believe that these good news stories, *written anonymously*, contain any historical accuracy  about Jesus' death and supposed resurrection.

You cite the gospel stories as if they are fact, when in fact the gospels were stories, passed from person to person in oral tradition, used to convince people to convert to Christianity.  It was only many years later that these stories were written down, by unknown authors, in unknown parts of the Roman empire.  They are not good sources of history!

You seem to use the book of Matthew, and his "account" that there were soldiers at the tomb, as fact.  Again, none of the gospels are established as fact, and the soldiers were probably a later addition to convince people that his body wasn't simply stolen.

This assumes that his body would have even been recognizable, and that his burial place was known.  If he had been buried in a common grave, or left on the cross to be eaten by dogs, it would be difficult to present his *actual* body.
