Obama Cracks Birth Certificate Joke While Visiting Kenya

During his visit to Kenya last week, Obama made sure to take a jab at “birthers,” people who believe the president was born in the African country.

The president attended a Kenyan state dinner in Nairobi on Saturday, hosted by the president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta.

There, the heads of state pledged closer relations between Kenya and the United States and gave a toast to the citizens of both countries.

The dinner comes after Obama criticized the human rights record of Kenya, urging the Kenyan government to legalize homosexuality. Kenyans accused of same-sex activity can face up to 14 years in prison.
