I found someone who already interpreted most of the lyrics, but I gave it a few dozen re-listens to confirm and touched up some verses. It seems from the context of them, this is the last prayer from the Rigelians to Duma before he falls at the hands of the Children of Fate. Their emperor and his generals are gone, the Deliverance is on their soil and marching on even beyond those deaths... It makes sense.

2:58 Honestly, best leitmotif I’ve ever heard in a video game. It’s triumphant, powerful, badass, but also heartfelt, nostalgic, depressing, and bittersweet when necessary.
The way it’s seamlessly interwoven into almost every track in the game but STILL doesn’t get old is a thing of beauty.

This theme in the last stage, with the quotes of every character and the army of celica with alm working together really gave me emotion and made me feel that it is the final :D

I think what i like best about this version of Twilight against the gods is that its so powerful.

Like, the SOV version evokes such a raw feeling of "you're going against an embodiment of pure power and you don't stand much of a chance, but you're willing to lay down your pitiful mortal life for the sake of your cause if it means any progression is made."
