Not gonna lie I had this blasting on surround sound speakers while fighting Dark Eater Midir, it just felt right.

On this hallowed field the final battle for Valentina was made. Against he whose name synonymous with Might itself was this battle waged. Even degraded as he was the mutated form of Duma had no equal.

Blows that would have broken armies held fast against his might. As these heroes of stalwart force refused to allow him to hurt the ones they protected.

Curses and taint that would have poisoned seas were purified by the priest that he and his sister taught the holy power so long ago.

Arrows rained down to blight the sky to hinder wings that were akin to hurricanes.

Magic that would have sundered mountains was deflected, countered, and met with equal and jarring force from those whose secrets they had uncovered.

And in the end.

Those chosen by fate itself.

One who encapsulated her love and his strength. Met him one last time.

The golden blade that sealed his sister met his skull. And finally, after all this time. The God of Might later down his arms to rest.

For mankind proved it could walk by themselves in this new world. And they would do it together.

So rests Divine Duma and Merciful Mila. Ever we remember their love, their suffering, and the new world their passing granted.

Rest our Divine mother and father. We shall be fine. You taught us how.

Great game and so thankful that Fire Emblem 2 was remade into Echoes with beautiful music remastered.
