In indonesian "Makasih" is more like "Thanks" which much more casual and relax. "Terima Kasih" is the equivalent to "thank you". Its more polite, but either way its fine

In Persian it's actually "Sepas", or "Sepasgozoram"
"Merci" it's franch word, as y'all know.

In Persian (Farsi) we have many words in order to say " thank You " why you used Merci which came from French ??!! for example to say Thank you, you can Say : "Seppas", "Mamnoon", "Tashakkor", Ba Tashakkor e Faravan, which is a bit official and so on like to know more please ask me :)

We also use "Sepas" or "Tashakor" to say thank you :) but they are formal

You people must understand something: putting the Brazilian flag as if Portuguese is from Brazil it's like putting Australia's flag or the US flag to talk about English. PORTUGuese is from PORTUGAL, therefor, you should put the portuguese flag. Just Saying

Just wanted to point out, for Portuguese, it would be "obrigado" for a male speaker. I wonder if there are similar distinctions for other languages? Great video and concept though.

In Indonesia u can do Makasih/Terima kasih but Terima kasih is more appropriate than Makasih bc I'm Indonesian
