I have a small 26ft McGregor power sailor. I’ve put around 6000 nautical miles since 2019. Been to the keys and Cuba Dominican Republic. I sail out of Huston tx. By myself, my wife and two dogs are just along for the ride

I do crew work, I've seen alot of injuries. Understanding every system on the vessel is a must. Cpr n basic medical knowledge as well. The Money isn't horrible.

what happens if you get aboard and the capt a douche? Your trapped. When I was in high school me and two friends helped this pilot get his sailboat ready to sail to San Diego. After the boat was ready we drew straws to see who got to go. A friend ended up winning and me and my other buddy wished well with envy. However, the pilots girlfriend went and she walked around in a thong and nothing else. She complained about everything and refused to help in any way. My buddy said the pilot and her argued constantly. When they got to SD My buddies dad paid for an airline ticket home.
