NASA Stops Trying to Wake Mars Opportunity After It Remains Silent

NASA has offically declared Mars Opportunity dead after trying to wake it for the last few months. The Rover exceeded its design in every way and set records for the distance it covered on another planet.

I was eight when opportunity landed on Mars and now I'm studying to be an Aerospace engineer. Hopefully one day I can be apart of a mission like this. Rest in peace Opportunity you made mankind proud.

It says something about a project that a lot of the engineers who designed it are retired and they are probably on the third generation of people to operate the thing.
