Supreme Court Relief For Rahul Gandhi In 'Modi Surname' Case

The Supreme Court today suspended Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's conviction in a criminal defamation case over his remarks on the 'Modi' surname. The order will allow him to return to parliament and contest national elections due next year.

First time after 1947 the Judiciary has upheld freedom of speech and expression.👏👏👏Now one can say anything to or against anybody without fear of criminal or civil jurisdiction. This is real freedom of speech and expression. In western countries the common man can abuse PM, President, Judiciary or anybody in office. Same is upheld in India now👏👏👏Any foreign citizen can come to India and say all Indians are chor but cannot be arrested because of freedom of expression and speech. Fantastic order.
