It’d be cool if they showed a short movie on disney plus that showed this fight, it was specifically say in the description that it would be not canon though

They could have come up with some excuse to use this idea. The whole conflict of the movie was that the multiverse was going to collide if they didn’t send everyone home. They could have added a subplot that instead of everything just busting in at the very end of the movie, they needed to send the villains back because portals to other universes were already being created, allowing them to use this fight scene, and causing way more chaos
