Today I went sightseeing in Munich, and I couldn’t believe my eyes in the middle of the city. I saw people with surfboards in the English garden. There’s a river going through Munich called Isar Eisenach . The force of the river creates a constant wave where people can jump onto and surf I could not believe my eyes, some really talented kids show their talent, not on the ocean. It was on a river.

The Eisbach (German, 'ice brook') is a 2-kilometre-long (1.2 mi) man-made river in Munich. It flows through the Englischer Garten park, and is a side arm of the Isar River. An artificial wave has been created on one section, which is popular among river surfers.
A meter-tall standing wave is created by a man-made stone step in the Eisbach Channel, just before it flows into the Isar River in the English Garden Park (Englischer Garten) in downtown Munich

GIV....I love love LOVE your videos from your home country, Germany. I know you love it here in the US, but seeing you in your HOME always brings a smile to me and your other subscribers. Germany is definitely on my bucket list of places to visit. I am a professional musician in a symphony orchestra and I love all of the music history that is in Beeethoven, Mozart, Wagner, Bruckner, etc. etc. etc.

Here in the French countryside the friendliest people I meet are nearly always German! 👍
After one particularly enlightening chance meeting, a retired German dentist solved a mystery for me. Apparently, BMW and Mercedes cars ARE indeed equipped with indicators!
It must be the French who aren't aware of the stick-thing sticking out of the steering-column?
