This 3 series video made me tear up;
it's been a year since I started my walk with Christ. And I haven't had a clear black-and-white reason to follow Him, but several different convictions. This made me realize another one of those. Around 3 years ago, I had transgressed against someone I had loved and betrayed her trust, and I didn't know I still carried that guilt till a year ago when I started to follow Christ, and I began to realize the gravity of my previous transgression. This video made clear the inequity I have been carrying for 3 years and why I have felt so heavy and stuck up in different relationships, that I don't even feel the love of eros in those relationships (these relationships were before I started my walk with Christ, and they were with unequally yoked folks so that was probably why). When I heard that it was God's dignity to make us carry our inequities (2:48) I understood why He placed such guilt on my heart. And afterward, Psalm 32:5 showed me how God will help me carry it, and for the past few months, I have been getting signs to reach out to her once more to confess and try to make amends again. I'm guessing this series is another sign. I'll be flying back home in around 2 months to try and contact her again, I hope you guys will pray for me and I know Jesus will show me His grace again.

Pray for me to get back on track, I was following these for awhile, like a fool I let lifes distractions get between me and the path to God again, over and over I miss the goal if being a better Christian. This explains a lot. In Luke 13 where Jesus heals on the Sabbath day the lady who was bent over 18 years and the ruler of the synagogue was indignant about it. It is a very clear object lesson of how bent out of shape the human heart is.

My pastor preached about iniquity.. I hadn’t heard this word up until that day and honestly didn’t even catch my attention when I did read the Bible. But I really liked how my pastor preached about it. Iniquities are definitely passed on to us from generations to generations, it’s the roots of a tree, the trunk is the generational curses and the branches are sins. He spoke about not only cutting off sins, generational curses but also the iniquities in us. Sometimes we don’t even know what we have from previous generations and sometimes we don’t know why we are probably attracted to some sins more than the others… this is when we look back and find out about our generations. He had a great example… he grew up always loving firearms/guns and said he couldn’t wait to be older so he could kill. This was a child and he didn’t know why he felt that way. He never grew up seeing that or playing games… if anything he was a small poor child with no access to any of that. So when he got older accepted Christ and started to question Lord, I would never kill anyone but why do I have this really rare and disgusting feeling that I want to do that??? And God revealed it to him that his dad, grandpa, and previous generations had at least killed 1 person. It’s important to understand that yes we are made new in Christ when we accept him ad our Lord and Saviour but we also have to ask him to examine us and reveal to us what things are inside of us and be delivered from them. And yes this is biblical, if Jesus healed the sick and delivered so many from evil spirits/demons we need to also understand that it is the same thing then and NOW.
