It's so strange watching you perfectly articulate things I've spent years figuring out & tweaking through trail and error

I don't usually comment, but I've been watching your videos for a while & I just wanna say: you're honestly a godsend. Makeup has always been a stressful thing for me, but your videos are so chill & useful for figuring out how it all works without feeling overwhelming. I love your approach to makeup & I wanna thank you bc makeup is finally fun for me! <3

You are so thoughtful to take the time and show techniques for faces that aren't yours. I've seen others try this, but IMO, not as thoughtful as you. You are smart. You are empathetic. I adore you.

I love this! I'd like to see an option for a more casual everyday look. I don't think I could pull this off as a casual look.

Alex !! Thank you so much for this ! I’ve never thought to use crease in eyes as a guide to start my winged liner. I cant wait to try it !!! This was such a great tip ❤

Omg I love how you don’t have that annoying fake bubbly personality that makes me wanna too my hair out, you’re just relaxed while really actually helping in detail. You’re amazing!

I have almond eyes and this is more or less like my shadow routine, but winged liner is something I always struggle with. The bat wing is an amazing tip. I can't wait to try it out! 😍

I've been trying to figure out a winged liner for well over 15 years and every single time, I get discouraged and accept that I'll never get it. Now, here you are making me feel like I have a chance. 😄

Oh my GOD, finally a tutorial for eyeliner on hooded eyes that doesn't make me draw on my hood 😭 I tried this eyeliner method just now and it didn't even take me 5 minutes to do! looks super cute even on a very hooded lid, and I will wear it literally every day. Thank you so much

I really appreciate the tip about starting with the upper part of wing first! I have always done the lower part first and I always mess up.

I love this! I've been doing a very similar look lately after watching Crystal Lindy's everyday eye makeup video and adapting it to be more like this. One of my favorite things to do is put some white pencil liner on the inner corners of my eyes and tap it so that it's nice and soft, then I'll take my favorite iridescent highlight and dab it on the inner corners and the inner half of my lids. I kind of like how doing this brings the shimmer down into my eyebags giving me a very soft version of the "crying" look. And it makes my small hooded eyes look so big, bright, and foxy!

Omg I have deep set eyes and super low brows, and the pop of shimmer is my favorite thing to do, really opens up the eye, esp if focused very close to the lashes
