FYI: The transmitter antenna on the Mini 2 controller is part of the phone holder. It may be useful to keep it deployed even when using this FPV setup.

I bought FPV goggles at a Goodwill store for about $9. I don't know how often such things can be found used. But the store had 2 of them. I picked the one that looked like it would clean up nice. The optics are pretty much the same in these goggles made for phones. However, I liked the point you made about peripheral vision or width (for lack of better terminology) . Caveat Emptor.

The biggest problem with this goggles is weight. You must use a tripod or your head will fell off. Too heavy even without placing a phone inside. I will mode a box and uses the lens. Or continue using a tripod to hold it in place.

It would have been good to show the settings you configured in the app. I assume you set the gimbal to fpv mode? Also, what do you set for return to home on a balcony? Do you got your balcony height set for the altitude, or do you set it for hover or something else?
