Cabover Restoration. Episode #22. Fixing ugly stuff on the frame and some extra show footage.

This round of work revolved around fixing ugly stuff on the frame, knocked out some rust and primed a few feet of the frame. Also did some priming of some frame related parts. Lastly I threw in some footage of a local show for fun......nice 359, w900 and a few others.

Looking good mate, can’t believe the condition of the frame she’s clean, I’d kill to be able to find one over here to tinker with.The original colours on the cab done with todays type paints and clear is going to look mint, stickers arrived too thanks again mate 👍🏼

Surprised those cross member brackets were cracked like that. That’s really wild. At least you can patch them up tho. The frame is gonna look sweet and slick smooth! There is more than likely rust under that fifth wheel plate. I know you’ll make sure to paint inside those holes in the frame. It’s coming along great. Those are some really nice old trucks at the end. I see the bug is in the shed. Can’t wait to see the next video

Coming along very nicely. Have you decided on color scheme ? Thanks for posting. IF I repeat IF I was ever going to do a resto on a semi I would do it on a " LEADER" they are Aussie made trucks.
