Preparing Surveyor Data for Import | LAND4 for ARCHICAD®

This video shows how to structure a file (.csv, .txt, .xyz) holding land surveyor data and prepare it for import into ARCHICAD using LAND4.

You will learn how to standardise the surveyor file - replace the tabulators, and remove the extra columns which are not needed or used by LAND4.

You will also see how to manage the ID of points contained in the file - both in relation to the file as a whole (via the MVO Settings) and to individual Spot Levels (using the Spot Level settings). The IDs can later be displayed and used when working with your project in LAND4.

In short, the video sums up simple and essential steps when working with surveyor files using third party applications such as NotePad or Excel.
