I was trying to make an edit of maid marian and I noticed there was no available scene pack for her. This has lead me to create one myself. I don't think I'll make any more scene packs. She is a side character and so adorable.

★Updates★ Making another playlist but probably for Jonathan. I think I'm done for now with the Billy Hargrove playlists and would like to move on to make playlists for other characters. Yeah, I'll still make some from time to time.

•Song: Pride And Prejudice 1995 Intro
•Movie: Disney, Robin Hood
•character: Maid Marian

I don't know how you guys download your scenepacks but this scene pack is only available here on youtube. I do not know how to put it on other websites. Credit is appreciated.

Heard lots of people had a crush on Marian when they were kids. Guess I could see why. I mean, they certainly did make their best to make an anthro fox attractive. What I like about her and Robin is that they aren’t hopeless romantics, they actually see the risks in their relationship. Marian is willing to give up palace life just to be with Robin who is an outlaw and Robin realizes love is all he has to offer in their relationship. Someone told me Marian is 27 while Robin is 28. Which seems about right. Do you agree she and Robin are a very underrated Disney couple?

Minor thing but it's so sweet that despite the fact that Robin didn't want Marian to sacrifice her lifestyle for him she was not going to hear that. She was willingly to gives up her status and possibly even risk getting killed by Prince John himself for him. These two are meant for each other because they both cares about the other well-being more than their own.

She's a childhood friend and later wife of Robin Hood.

I've recently decided to do a bit of research to see what's true around the legend of Robin Hood and I even have found a possible real-life counterpart/basis for Maid Marian: Eleanor, "The Fair Maid of Brittany". Not just this, but Wolfgang Reithermann's animated adaptation seem to have one of, if not the most Eleanor-like Marians of all cinematography:
- Both are niece to both Richard Lionheart and John Lackland.
- Eleanor was imprisoned in a tower, forbidden to marry and have kids (and thus hiers) in order to avoid any possible pretense by her on the Crown (she actually was one of the closest possible rivals to John's bid), and was heavily guarded to avoid any affair. It's implied Marian is restricted in her movements, and hopes Richard and/or Robin can free her.
- Eleanor was also known for being close and sympathethic to the common people, and very much beloved by them, to the point she was permitted to appear in public once a year also to reassure about her conditions. Might be speculated, that's probably the occasion for Marian's appearance to the Archery Tournament (albeit she also was to be used as a lure for Robin).
- She also was a fierce, defiant personality, which never was fully put into submission; Marian in this version isn't one of the most Amazon-like, but still can be very outspoken and don't hesitate renouncing her status and privilege, if this means being on the rightful side.
- We don't know Eleanor's whereabouts between 1195 and '98, and Marian's too are quite nebulous; she mentions having moved to London before coming back to Nottingham, but still all it's very vague.
- Marian also is referred to as "fair lady" in the movie: a sort of a wink to her possible real-life counterpart?
Unfortunately, real-life Eleanor of Brittany eventually died in 1247 while still in captivity, aged about 58, never having had any relationship, childless and as such without even possibilities for an hier which could have climbed on the Throne: Richard died in 1199 during a war against France and as such Eleanor had neither him, nor any Robin Hood which could have helped her, while when John died in 1216 he was succeeded by his son Henry III, aged just 9(!), and any hope for Eleanor was unfortunately up. Might be solace to her Soul her fictional counterpart has had an happier ending, albeit in many versions of the legend she too have to renounce her status to marry Robin and follow his Merry Men? After all, we're talking about two strong heroines which have gone down the Centuries as symbols and examples of determination and moral strenghth. I like to think to this Marian as an Eleanor which have find herself freed, and decided to renounce her status as an act of defiance against a corrupted power even more cr*minal than her and her lover can have ever been. It's still something we can talk about today...

Maid Marian from Disney's Robin Hood may or may not be the first furry waifu character ever created, but she was the first to set the standard.
