NEW Lotus Emira GT4 RACE CAR SCREAMING V6 SOUNDS + ON-BOARD!!

I was very lucky to be invited to the global premiere of the Lotus Emira GT4 race car- heavily based on the road car but with some crucial track elements. The 400 horsepower 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine sounds incredible on track, and you can hear the Lotus team talk through the car in depth, along with a brief look into the Lotus private collection of race cars!

Why is it that the racing GT4 has 18 inch tires, while the street car forces us to accept 20 and 21 inch wheels and tires. The Lotus MARKETING media tries to make us believe that 20 & 21 inch wheels is an upgrade over the 18..

Why isn't this engine in the latest Supra? Pesky Japanese, teamed up with the worst car brand in the world when it comes to reliability. I guess they wanted to achieve some balance - too reliable is boring. Now with the BMW collaboration I guess it will be more interesting for them to have more customers visit their service quarters. More profit. Less investment.

stock lotous evora sounded better, and this is a heavier car. throttle house extra" did a video on it saying they didnt feel motion sickness in the car for its speed vs other cars
