I was pretty surprised to learn that Lotus doesn't build the race version of the Emira themselves, instead there is a specialist who builds the GT4. In this video, I'll tell you a little bit about the company, and the process of how they take an Emira chassis and turn it into a race car.

Do you know or have you seen any pics of the GT4’s exhaust manifold and join pipe? We can tell from some of the pics in the video they are using actual headers and not modified Toyota manifolds like the old exige cup r’s had, but I’m curious if the GT4 uses a short header style manifold or a long tube manifold (I.e., Komotec style short header vs BOE long tube style for evora’s). Thanks!
