Crazy that many linux users are using nVidia. I use linux with a 1080 and my experience is awful.

I'm guessing most linux users have tuned there systems for privacy and not opting into surveys or system stat sharing. I know I don't. I'm Also not a big fan of steam.

So the linux OS moves by something like +-0.01% .... but it's big survey, probably lot of users, so even this probably means something, right?

Wait... win10 -3%, win7 64b +3% ... Did something huge happened in win10 world which didn't leak into my linux oriented world, with people massively reinstalling win7 over their win10, or is this survey too small/randomised to actually reason about some +-1% numbers shift, and the linux stuff is under error-margin all the time?

(and IIRC, whenever some dev shared some insight into their revenue, linux share was often way above that 1%-usage from steam surveys ... haven't seen any recent one, but I guess the only solid marketing conclusion from steam survey is, that you need somebody with more insight and expertise to really evaluate how much are certain groups of users worth (dev effort)).

@4:42 "We're leaving those Windows users in the dust"?? this statement is totally incorrect unless the % of Windows users CPU of 3.7GHz and above .. Linux is only 1.02% of OS population and out of this, only 49.26% (aggregate of Intel & AMD) are using 3.7GHz and above or (1.02% * 49.26%) 0.50%. Whilst for Windows, those using 3.7GHz and above are (93.79% (% Win based user) * (4.41% (Intel CPU of 3.7GHz and above) + 6.17% (AMD CPU)) = 9.92%
