So I have to ask since I haven't been able to find a single thing about it. Is this item battery operated? Can you plug it into a mini speaker & microphone and still get all the voices and jazz? I am only asking because I am looking into cosplay and want to walk around talking like an old wizard spewing false knowledge.

Very good video review. I would buy this but for one thing. It does not have a speaker. I want to do videos which will sometimes be outside. I need something that I can hook on my belt and have it change my voice as a camera is rolling.

Hey Matt! Awesome video! I get a crazy hissing sound when I use a 3.5mm to xlr adapter and a lav mic like you showed. Any ideas as to why this happens? It’s crazy frustrating bc the only mic that doesn’t give me some hissing feedback now is my Rode PodMic.
