Erza Scarlet is a woman who can do BOTH. Be the most formidable, badass, S-class wizard who can take on 100 enemies and come out on top. And, gets flustered around love, wear pretty dresses, and gush over having a perfect picnic. It's called having depth and not making a character feel one-dimensional.

I love how they see a female character who acts feminine as "weakening" the character.

Growing up I used to hate anything feminine about myself because I thought it made me weak, most of the time the “strong female role models” I had seen in media were girls who rejected anything feminine, which caused me to think being feminine = bad and weak. Not to mention the ‘Not like other girls’ thing was pretty big on the internet when I was younger where girls were shunned for being feminine.

What I’m saying is we need more female characters who are able to embrace their femininity while still being badasses who aren’t seen as weak for enjoying things that are “girly”. It really would have made things easier for me, and I doubt I’m the only one who was affected like this.
