The seat of Barren County has a great deal to offer, from a beautiful courthouse to lovely shops, and really warmhearted people. Glasgow is just about 30 miles from Kentucky's third largest city, Bowling Green, yet has its own distinct culture. 2:13 that walkway goes to the natural spring that has been there since beginning. My GGG grandfather owned Mammoth Cave in the 1850s. and the first white child born in Barren Co was family ..

Great veteran's memorial....my grandfather, father and uncle are all listed on that wall.

GGGG Grandfather fought in the 6thKY infantry CSA. Barren County born and raised. Barren County had the most confederate medal of honor recipients of any Kentucky County.
