Friday night “Ride” over Glasgow Ky

Flight over Glasgow Ky with the sights of a small town that I love so much.

I left in 1979. City sure has changed (grown). Was just there this past weekend to visit family. Eat at the long johns every time I'm in town. Sad to see some of the cool stores gone from the "square". JJ Newberrys, Penneys, etc. Sisters and brother still all live in Barren county and never left so I stop in a couple times a year to visit. Normally stay down at the Barren River lodge. When I was like 11 years old, dad worked for South Central Rural Telephone. We installed all the phones in that place (I use to go with him to work during the summer sometimes). So, it's symbolic for me to stay there when I'm in town.

Great job! I left in 2013 and haven't been back since...it wasn't a move I wanted but had to happen. I lived my whole life prior in Glasgow....I live in Lafayette, Indiana now..its ok but not all that lol its Axl Rose hometown he hated so much I leave it at that he left here in 82.
