Where to Eat in Okinawa Japan | Best Foods on Island

I am really excited to share with you where to eat in Okinawa, Japan! These places have some of the best foods on island with great prices and great dining experiences. Some of these places are old favorites but others are new discoveries that we instantly fell in love with. This is part 3 of my good eats in Okinawa series, so do go check out my first two videos to see more must-go restaurants in Okinawa. Please note that this isn't an exclusive list. These are the restaurants that we had time to visit during our 2 week trip back to Okinawa. After living in Okinawa for about 15 years, I now live in the states so when I do my yearly visit I try to go to as many places as I can, as well as try new places. There are definitely more great places to eat and I do have past videos that touch on that matter, so do please check them out!

- Blue Seal
Location: Many locations around the island (be on the lookout for the huge ice cream logo), we went to the one in Chatan: 1-5-8, Mihama, Chatan, Nakagami District, Okinawa 904-0115

What we ordered: San Francisco Mint Chocolate, Banana Susana, Beniimo (Okinawan sweet potato)- 310 yen each

- Ootoya
Location: About 9 locations on island, we went to the one in Ginowan: 220 Uchidomari, Ginowan, Okinawa Prefecture 901-2227
Hours: 1000-2300
What we ordered: Cold Udon with Pumpkin Croquette for 438 yen, Chicken Vegetable Stew Set for 796 yen, Tofu Vegetable Set for 739 yen, Pork Vegetable Set for 820 yen

- Melon Pan Ice
Location: 4F of Rycom Mall (World Gourmet Food Court side)
Hours: 1000-2200
What we ordered: Beniimo melon pan ice for 490 yen

- Gram Pancake Cafe
Location: 2 Chome-1-38 Ameku, Naha, Okinawa Prefecture 900-0005
Hours: 1100-2000; irregular holidays
What we ordered: Tiramisu pancake set for 950 yen and salmon avocado pancake for 1350 yen

- Hale Noa Cafe
Location: 2-18-6 Chatan, Chatan-cho, Nakagami-gun 904-0116
Hours: 0800-1600, closed Tuesdays
What we ordered: Poke Bowl for 1300 yen, Kalua Cabbage Loco Moco for 1300 yen, scrambled eggs for 300 yen, smoothie for 450 yen

- Slow Life Cafe

What we ordered: Spaghetti set for 1000 yen, Loco Moco for 1000 yen
