Must Try Restaurants and Fish Market in Okinawa, Japan

This week's video we're in Okinawa, Japan again! It's great to be back and this time we're revisiting our favorite fish market as well as one of our favorite Okinawa Soba spots. We also have another local dish, taco rice!

If you find yourself at the more northern side of the Island near the aquarium, you need to try Island Pig House. It's so good! Just a little out of the way if you don't rent a car.

Haven’t been to Okinawa in at least 8 years. Love Okinawa soba as the broth is light. The place has a totally different vibe from the main islands.

Oh, don’t forget goyachanpon! Supposed to be a healthy dish that keeps the Okinawans alive longer than everywhere else.

I lived in Japan for six years, specifically Kanagawa and, yes, you can find taco rice almost everywhere, not just Okinawa.

A must visit when you’re in Okinawa is a small Izakaya called Ryutan. It’s in the cut in Naha definitely my favorite place to eat when I’m in town.
