My Canadian Dad used to yell in outrage at the TV whenever Kissinger spoke. Called him a monster, a traitor, murderer, racist, and the ultimate insult a fascist.

My dad was career Air Force. He was in both Korea & Vietnam. He and my mother had "lively" political discussions at the dinner table. I was only 9 in 1972 when my dad died, but I remember him saying those same things about Kissinger (he hated Tricky Dick too). Exposure to Agent Orange killed my dad... I will not mourn the loss of Kissinger. My first thought was.... oh yeah, Billy Joel had it right, "only the good die young"

As a Cambodian, thank you for mentioning this history. Many Khmer community don't even know this history and the complexities of what happen. Often times, naturalized Khmer refugees believe what the establishment tells them under the guise of "anti-communism" when in fact the Republicans/Establishment Democrats were the catalyst of the genocide rising. Funny, way back in the 70s my Canadian friend's Dad used to call him "Kiss of Death Kissinger" or just "Kissinger of Death". I was just a kid, and never knew WTF he was talking about...

It is quite unbelievable that Kissinger, a real fascist responsible of installing Pinochet in power, has died quite peacefully (unlike Pinochet’s victims), without even facing any legal punishment for his actions. Javi Caballero (Spain).

How do bad people live this long? There's another one in Cameroon. He is 95 and he's still the president of that country. He is busy killing English speaking Cameroonians and the world is silent about this.
