Thank you so much for all of your advice! I am going through the same situation as I also have PCOS. Currently I am taking metformin to control my insulin resistance and to induce ovulation. I had been trying to lower my androgens as naturally as possible but nothing was working for the past year so I gave in into trying out metformin. 2:00 This part about the Telogen phase is such great information! Simple info that can set people up with realistic expectations that will keep them from being too discouraged when not seeing "immediate" results, and foster continued determination 🙏

Also, as anyone in life, I've heard time and time again friends and family complain of health issues, and not knowing the cause. And so, it's so heartening to hear you speak of the 3 factors you've identified as root causes for your hair loss. Not to say that makes the road easy, but I'm so happy for you that you're fully informed, if that makes sense. It's a gift in itself in a way 😊

Also also, naturopathic medical school sounds 🔥 sick 🔥 (in comparison to western medicine alone). It makes me so happy to see at least some of our young generation going in this direction and bringing this type of expertise into the future 😄✔✔✔

Hello :) Your videos are very informative and your voice quite soothing. I would like to know how you healed adrenal burnout. I believe adrenal fatigue is the main source of my problems, and the excess of estrogen. Dermatologists could not help my hair loss, or they made things a lot of worse (they put me on Accutane for a full year for some moderate acne, which caused massive hair loss). So, now I just try to manage the damage. Thank you, regards.

Hi! Thank you for making a video series about this. Can you tell me when you were first diagnosed with androgenic alopecia? I am 21 and was recently diagnosed. Your hair looks really good! Do you still experience heavy shedding? And, I've heard that minoxidil can cause fine lines and wrinkles in the face, accelerating the aging process. Have you experienced anything like this at all?
