A potential correction. The mare will hunt under 60% sanity if it is in the dark and not the player. I’ve had the ghost wander out of a lit room and start a hunt from there.

The mare’s hidden ability at 16:21 actually happened to me today. It caught me off guard and i was like «damn, i’m sorry». (i didn’t know about this before watching the video).

This series is literally perfect for me. I typically can't watch YouTube as if it is tv. This keeps me engaged and practicing my ghost knowledge the entire time. I always look forward to the next "but you decide" video.

9:30 the "twinteraction" is also seen on the activity board, then there is a change in the line going up or down, where it gets a little more horizontal without it being completly horizontal. i cant really discribe it, so best is you search it up.

17:25 there is always an invisible ghost model wandering around, with hitboxes you cant see or touch. the demon can hunt you at 100 sanity, if you are in the line of sight of this invisible model.

19:09 the first three candles work like crucifixes, every candle after that has a 50/50 chance of triggering a hunt at any sanity.

22:30 the shade only hunts below 35 sanity.

23:20 i dont know if its fixed yet, but a mimic can also mimic itself or the player, in wich case it will do absolutely nothing but give evidence.

also, the phantom has another abillity which effects roaming. i am not sure what it does yet, but i am doing my research.

all the information listed here, are confirmed by the developers. i hope you learned some new stuff from the comments here, just as i leaned a bit more about yurei, banshee and myling.

Also with the twins, when you look at the activity meter you will see a slight bump during an hunt (or event not sure) that indicates throwing something and then the ghost itself.
Very hard to see but also incredibly handy because you instantly know its them

This is a great guide, Maggie! One of take-aways I got as it's something that I don't always remember is marking off ghosts with forced evidence when playing on Nightmare & up. Also, loved playing Demonologist with you last night, I can't wait for the full version to come out.

My go-to way for testing a Raiju is to throw a flashlight on the ground in a place that I know it would go to. In front of the basement door on Tanglewood is where I usually put it on there. After I throw the flashlight down, I get it to hunt and go hide. If I hear the ghost speed up near the basement door, then I know it's a Raiju. I used that test for the zero sanity and evidence challenge a few weeks ago and ended up getting two Raiju's.

Make sure to put salt near (or inside) the ghost's room to check for a Wraith. Ghosts don't interact with salt when hunting.
