The Duncan Hornet is pretty great! Definitely a great yoyo to get into looping 2A, highly recommend for anyone that sees it in stores!

You were wrong for putting a no yo on the Duncan. Imperial, it's a yo's of that style, made in the 50s that paved the way for everything you're doing today. It doesn't do all the modern tricks because it was never intended to.

If my eyes aren't decieving me, I've been to every store you've been to, except for the Hobby Lobby. Great memories of that mall from when I was a kid, and there was still a quality arcade there!

I find that the Duncan Hornet and Duncan pulse are some of the best you can find in a grocery store. Haven't seen a yyf whip in any stores yet. I have seen some stores carry the yomega raider and fireball.

Funny enough, a board game store in Estonia used to sell yoyos, they had a YoyoFactory stand with iirc Edge and Shutter yoyos
