Over the last 10 years in the NCAA Tournament, the ACC has the highest winning %, most wins, most wins vs kenpom expectations, tied for most titles (3) and with the most teams (3).

Over just the 3 tournaments since the stupid NET and Quad system have been a thing, the ACC has...surprise, the most wins, best winning %, most teams in the final 4 (3), all while doing it with fewer teams and less representation than the other power leagues. The ACC has dominated against the spread too in the last 3 tournaments as well. I can't remember the exact number, but it's somewhere in the ball park of 25-7 ATS, many of these coming when the ACC team was the lower seed and an underdog going in to the game. That is not a random sample or a one off game in March. That is a trend. Just the ATS numbers are essentially the same amount of data points as an entire team's regular season.

They also undermined their own argument by saying all along that they knew the ACC was top heavy....NC State was a 10 seed in the ACC tournament. Clemson was a 6 seed. Pretty sure that shows more depth than just being top heavy....

Re Acc, its not that its been this one year. We've had this conversation 3+ years in a row. And every year the ACC performs well above expectations, S16s, at least 1 FF team, etc.

The sample size is growing larger.

ACC: 29-11 (.725)
Big East: 25-10 (.714)
BIG-12: 29-18 (.617)
PAC-12: 13-10 (.565)
