these were the excuses used in Kentucky’s loss to Oakland.

Duke is starting 3 sophomores 1 star freshman and 1 senior—not entirely one and done but a well rounded young rotation—and DOMINATED the first 2 rounds. granted it was Vermont and James Madison, but Wisconsin couldn’t beat them and Auburn couldn’t beat Yale. Sure a talent gap may exist in today’s matchup but coaching matters, Jon Scheyer did an excellent job today.

ACC with all 4 teams in the sweet 16. "Experts" talked trash and dogged the ACC all season and now with all 4 teams from the 64 team bracket are in the sweet 16 for 100% win for ACC teams and 25% of the sweet 16 are ACC teams. ACC might be down a little but still the class of the field.

I love Duke, but the Sweet 16 will be as far as they go. You can't expect to shoot lights out like that against Houston. The only way they can win is McCain having another dominant performance with Proctor chipping in.

James Madison got here to play Duke by playing filthy football type of basketball against Wisconsin and nothing was called making me think the referees had some bets on the game. But this game show the true talent of the James Madison team! None! Congrats Duke!!!
