As a truck driver I delivered at an Amazon distribution center in Pennsylvania. Parking lot was outside the fence and workers had to funnel thru guard shack and be searched coming and going. Went there one time and there was an ambulance. Ask guard if someone was ill ? He said, "no Amazon found out it was cheaper to hire an ambulance to sit here all day, and just treat people here or take to hospital, than to run the air-conditioning.

I'm saving so much money having stopped using Amazon for the past year and a half.

Amazon is too big to fail. I thought we had anti-monopoly laws to prevent a company from owning a whole sector of business. The problem with a company this big is that it has so much power and so many people count on it for a living. That’s why they should be protected. Our unions in the South are a joke. I hope these workers get what they deserve. Hope the politicians do too…

Yes I have been disciplined so called by Amazon management without Weinguard rights but I did put my iphone on the table to record the whole process to have a record if they refuse that say nothing except no and I don’t recall like a politician 😡

The rich See's an economic crisis as a garage sale also the stay rich by investing and diversifying their portfolio with stocks, crypto and forex trading which is the wisest thing every individual needs to do and I recently bought a house with the profits I made from trading crypto.

Capitalism works only when its tamed by some amount of union efforts. The key is to avoid union/labour militancy or other arbitrary and dysfunctional behaviours that goes for the employers too who should be considerate of workers concerns and grievances as much as possible so that in the long run the company's profit and the worker's interests are aligned as much as possible where it is feasible.

If Amazon is fired ppl for poor performance. Thats different between employee and employer. My work is production and many get fired for not meeting that production. The people that get fired complain the whole time it can't be done yet the production was being meet before they got there. Those people think they should get paid for showing up and not what they do.
