Alternator mount bolt started shearing off. Noticed some serious slop in the belt even after belt replacement. Was able to cross reference a Gates belt off Amazon (#K040551) for $13 with Prime shipping over the Mercury belt the dealership wanted $60 for.

Thanks for the belt part number will be ordering one of those. My was doing the same thing were you able to just put a new spring in or did you need to get a new arm assembly?
