A few zings at Lucy, but she mostly zings herself. She is legendary. They both are!

I knew an older physician who had been stationed in a hospital in Saigon during the Vietnam War. Phyllis Diller was the only celebrity who would visit soldiers who were burned, paralyzed, or missing limbs. The other entertainers couldn't or wouldn't. She was loved because she could pretend that they were OK. She'd sign casts, etc.

Phyllis was not only a very gifted comedian she was a very talented pianist. Apparently she didn’t let on just how much talent she had on a piano.

Phyllis was so self-deprecating. She made herself the butt of the joke so often. She was so funny and so warm, and we loved her.

My grandmother told me about the first time that she saw this woman due a stand up and said that it was just drop dead funny. I can truly see what she meant by that. God rest both of you, my grandmother and Phyllis.

Phillis was a hoot. She was great at self-effacing humor. A true comic isn't afraid to poke fun at themself. She had a cameo in an episode of the 1966 Batman series as a cleaning lady.
Truly funny lady.

I always liked Phyllis Diller. I seem to remember that she was in a couple of Bob Hope movies. She was a very funny lady in a tough branch of entertainment. RIP Phyllis, and thanks for all of the laughs.👍👏🤣

The One and Only, Miss Phyllis Diller, a true one of a kind. I was fortunate to be born in '55, early enough to still have many years growing up with the greatest talents and entertainment Hollywood has ever produced. My favorite & most memorable moment of Phyllis was her part in "A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" where she's riding her motorcycle and squirting mustard & ketchup over the other cars windshields with her frizzed out hair and that devilish kackle of hers, during one of the endless chase scenes. She was pure hell on wheels. God Bless and Gods Speed to the lovely Miss Phyllis Diller.

One of the greatest gifts you can give a person is to make them laugh and these two ladies are legends.

I loved Lucille Ball. She reminded me of my mother, who despite having black hair, looked like her and was about the same age. Lucille was gorgeous, especially in her earlier years, and tremendously talented and funny. Mom was, too.
