Tom B always drops the knowledge.
Treat it like a real amp!
The best guitar tones (solo) never sound as great in a mix.
That’s why i like to record DI then re amp, effects and eq later.
Josh Smith is nasty!
Rock on 🤘 Krenar

Little Tommy Bukovac has been my main source of inspiration these days, I love the dude.
Since I have HX Stomp + Katana 50 (V1 without fx return) combo as well, I was trying to make it work as a monitoring solution with acoustic channel, but I wasn't getting good enough results. I have to try to dime the EQ like you suggested. Do you turn off cab modeling when you plug into acoustic channel or you treat it as some sort of FRFR (since it's acoustic channel) and leave cabs/IRs on?
Great tone and playing man, keep it up.

Good thoughts here, Krenar. The Buchavic (sp?) idea is really interesting. Take real life amp settings & port them over to a modeler. Makes sense & Lots of fun experiments to be had there.

I want to create a similar patch on the Pod Go. I took your advice and put the gain at 5, bass at 3 but I'd like to know where your channel volume and master volume are at. I feel like your drive (before the minotaur) is slightly heavier than mine. Where is your master volume set at??

What do you think about pickups in PRS SE with Helix? Are not too hot ? Because I got this and there is so much distortion.

How much the HX stomp sound changes if you use the power amp in instead of the normal input for acoustic mode?

Modelers dish out "recorded tone". When we play acoustic guitar, we hold resonance box on our lap and we experience those vibrations. The difference between recorded, pure tone and "amp in the room" for me, is just a guitar cab that resonates in a room. No guitar cab, no "experience".
