Ranking EVERY New Feature in the Minecraft Garden Awakens Update

The Minecraft 1.21.4, otherwise known as the garden awakens drop has been released! This is the first major drop for the game that Mojang has released under this new update system! This drop, while certainly smaller than a major update, has added a ton of stuff like a new biome with the pale garden, a new mob with the creaking, a new wood with pale oak, and even a new ore with resin! So today I thought it would be fun to table every new feature and change from this update from the worst to the best! Plus I threw in bundles too, why not!

glad I’m not the only one who thought adding White Pumpkins in this update would’ve been a good idea, serving as a nice reference to an old spin-off while making said item existing in Minecraft Story Mode in the first place retroactively work. They did later add calico cats from the same episode, after all

My favorite part about the pale garden is how the open eye blossoms look like the eyes of the creaking at a glance. makes the pale garden a lot creepier at night imo it’s feels like you’re always being watched

Fun facts: Pale hanging moss will make ambient sounds if attached to pale oak logs/leaves, open eyeblossoms also make ambient sounds if placed on pale moss blocks, and creaking hearts ALSO make ambient sounds if surrounded by pale oak logs on all sides

Mojang went above and beyond with creating the unnerving atmosphere for this biome, it's insane

I have a cool idea to make the creaking stay during the day. Combine a creaking heart with a diamond (Could just be a crafting recipe, anvil, or even could use the smithing table) and it would make a creaking heart… but Basically it will keep the creaking around at all times day or night and the orange textures on the creaking would be replaced with a blue color.

Adds another, though small use to diamonds and would just be sick if they added it.

I feel like whether you make one of these videos on each drop or multiple at once should depend on their size, like if one is large enough it should get its own but if one is a bit small (like the bundle) it should be rolled into a ranking with others

I think this is a drop that proves that Mojang can listen. The pale oak looks great, horror mods have been incredibly popular for a while, and they patched the Creaking when everyone made fun of how slow and weak it was. Now if only they’ll make the Waxed Lightly Weathered Cut Copper Stairs have purple text.

they should 100% make a "vision detector" redstone component that's crafted with resin and/or creaking heart to make up for the fact that the creaking despawns in daytime. itd also give resin a MASSIVE new use

I am actually really excited about that flower that opens at night.
My Base is underneath a Mountain, completely away from the outside and this makes it much easier for me to know if I should go to bed before making my way out =)
