When the author performs new music he puts a piece of his own soul inside it. And when I hear remixes - it's like the violation of the masterpiece. No boubt that the orirginal is much stronger and more...alive. IMHO this one is just a clone for the clubs from 1:06 up to the end. You might not disagree, but I think that remixes pull us back and disavow further intentions.
As for me I even managed to dance rumba with the first half and the final of the original "against the tide" - it was so thought-out!! But this sample is for night clubs only.
Mr. Scott. You have a great reputation of HI-END musician and I sincerely wish you not to loose your brand by publishing and supporting surrogates of your creations.
Perhaps the technical part of this remix is advanced, however, this music has no soul.
P.S. Actually the beginning and the final were rather touching as there were no clubbing "wubs". Please think about it. I adore YOUR music and wish you only the best.
