I tried to DIY a vinyl fence gate and the gap between the posts is too big for my 4 ft gate. How would you fix this? There’s a walkway in between and they’re already cemented in…

The top of the fences are no level, look down the fence and you will see posts all over the place. Yes, it will leave a gap at the bottom, but this can easily be remedy with soil.
