Good to know there is a way to pause the game but wish it was a basic UI button.

FYI color cartridges are still currently used for applying patterns (icons, dotted lines, etc), but are planned to be removed in 1.0

I hadn't noticed any issues feeding pipes from below personally, but maybe I've got a bunch of broken machines😅

For liquids, as long as the source of the pipe is at the same level or higher than the machines they connect to, going down to a service underfloor and then back up has no issues. So if one set of refineries produce fuel, you can take the output and pipe below to a service level, then pipe back up to the same level if that is where you have generators, no pumps needed. If I am pumping oil up to a floor for processing you'll need pumps to get it up there, I tend to have a liquid buffer on the same level if not a little higher than the machines on the floor, then from the buffer go back underneath to the service floor, then pipe back up as/where needed without further pumps throughout the floor and with no problems. Only thing to note is that when you first start up the machines, you need to make sure you fill the pipes all of the way before turning on the machines. Pipes work better when full and are fairly consistent when full.

As a companion to my other comment, you can stack conveyor poles even tighter by using 1m ramps to space your poles even closer together vertically. Of course, the amount of clipping this produces is absolutely disgusting!

You can _"vertically stack"_ 4 conveyor poles to the height of a single 4m wall. To do this, put down a conveyor pole at it's default 1m height, preferably in an easy to remember location on a foundation such as the center. Then, place a 1m foundation on top of it and place the next conveyor pole in the same spot on top of the new foundation. Repeat this until you have a stack of 4 (or as many as you like!), then delete the foundations. Now, you have a very vertically tight stack of conveyor belts!

*NOTE: There ARE some quirks to keep in mind:*
When adding another pole, it can sometimes be tricky because the pole likes to disappear when over the pole below it. If this happens, try to move further away and aim the spot.
When placing poles on the corner edges of foundations, you may need to add one or more foundations adjacent to where you're aiming to prevent the pole (or pole stack blueprint) you're placing from being one foundation lower than it should.

I have blueprints with pole stacks as high as 31 poles!
